Product description

The DMP Flex 200 is an industrial metal 3D printer from 3D Systems, designed for the precise production of small, complex metal parts. With a build volume of 140 × 140 × 115 mm and a powerful 500 watt laser, it enables the production of the finest details and thinnest wall thicknesses. The patented layer compaction technology allows the use of smaller particles, resulting in a typical accuracy of ±50 μm for small parts. An innovative clamping mechanism facilitates loading and unloading of the build plate, while the inert process chamber with integrated hoover and airlock minimises powder contact. The supplied 3DXpert® software solution supports the entire workflow from design to production and ensures high-quality printing results. The DMP Flex 200 is therefore ideal for applications in dental technology, jewellery manufacturing and other industrial sectors that require maximum precision and efficiency.

High performance at lower costs

Easy charging and cleaning

Thanks to a new clamping mechanism that eliminates the need for screwing in the process chamber, unloading the printing plate is now easier than ever. An internal hoover keeps the process chamber, which remains sealed under inert conditions, clean and cleans all surfaces without contacting the powder. An airlock is used to bring printing plates and powder containers in and out of the process chamber. This prevents exposure to the powder and limits oxygen ingress into the process chamber.

The build volume reducer measures 20 mm in depth and 20 mm in diameter and reduces the minimum amount of powder required to print a 20 mm cube by a factor of 50.
