Product description

The EXT 1070 Titan Pellet is an industrial 3D printer specially developed for the production of large, functional prototypes and final components. With a generous build volume of 1,070 × 1,070 × 1,118 mm, it is ideal for applications in the aerospace, automotive, foundry and other industries. The pellet extrusion technology not only enables a significant reduction in material costs through the use of thermoplastic pellets, but also a printing speed that is up to ten times faster than conventional filament extrusion.

The EXT 1070 Titan Pellet supports a wide range of materials, including high-performance thermoplastics such as CF-PEI, GF-PEKK and GF-PC as well as flexible elastomers and fibre-reinforced plastics. This provides flexibility in selecting the appropriate material for specific applications. With its robust steel frame construction and actively heated industrial housing, the EXT 1070 is designed for use in demanding production environments. The optional CNC milling functionality enables precise post-processing of the printed parts, which shortens production times and improves the quality of the end products.

Specially manufactured. Ready for production.

The EXT 1070 Titanium Pellet is a proven additive manufacturing production system for applications such as pattern and mould making, tooling, fixtures, end-use parts and full-size prototypes. Industries using titanium technology include foundries, automotive, aerospace and defence, consumer goods and more. Consisting of a welded steel frame and an actively heated industrial housing, the EXT 1070 is ready to produce high performance functional parts on the factory floor. The modular tool head system allows customers to add a second pellet extruder, filament printing capability and/or CNC routing functionality either at the time of machine purchase or afterwards.

Pellet extrusion

3D printing with a wide range of pellet materials, from raw materials to high temperature, high performance materials, including CF-PEI, GF-PEKK and GF-PC. Direct pellet-fed 3D printing on the EXT 1070 also enables the use of highly flexible elastomers and materials with high glass and carbon content. 3D printing with pellet extrusion reduces material costs by up to 10 times with up to 10 times higher material application compared to filament printing.

Hybrid production on the EXT 1070

The EXT 1070 Titan Pellet features our proven pellet extrusion system and can be equipped with additional die heads on the same gantry. Adding a filament extruder or a second pellet extruder enables high-speed printing with multiple materials. The CNC spindle tool head enables true hybrid manufacturing and processes 3D printed parts both during and after the printing process. The EXT 1070 takes additive manufacturing to the next level in production, shortening cycle times and producing seamless and precise 3D printed end-use parts.
