Back in the dunes: The ZÉPHYR at the 26th Rallye du Maroc

Rallye du Maroc 2025 - Successful comeback for Aurelien and his team

After a nine-month break, Aurelien Bouchet and his team returned to the race track at the Rallye du Maroc 2025 and impressed across the board.

With the revised Zéphyr, they mastered five challenging stages over more than 2,000 kilometres of off-road terrain through Fès, Erfoud and the legendary dunes of Merzouga. The rally demanded everything that rally-raid sport is all about: fast tracks, stony passages, dunes, oued passages (treacherous, dried-up riverbeds) and extreme temperatures. Precision, driving technique and teamwork took centre stage and the team delivered impressive performances on all stages:

  • Prologue: successfully completed despite an electronics problem (23rd place CHALLENGER).
  • Stages 1-4: technical skill, navigation talent and endurance led to steady improvements in the overall classification.
  • Stage 5 + Power Stage: error-free navigation, constant speed and top performance resulted in 9th place in the CHALLENGER category and 46th place overall AUTO - the first top 10 result in the FIA W2RC for the team! We congratulate Aurelien and the BTR team on this impressive comeback.
